Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Oman Q2 2024

During the second quarter of 2024, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Oman saw varied performance across the top five applications. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, offers a detailed view of weekly downloads and active user trends for these apps.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at 503 in the first week of April and peaking at 1.2K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users showed a slight fluctuation, beginning at approximately 42K and ending the quarter at around 43.4K.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, from 266 at the start of April to over 1.5K by the end of June. Active users also increased from about 2.9K to 4.8K over the same period, indicating growing popularity.

Careem – rides, food & more maintained stable weekly download numbers, ranging from 308 to 556 throughout Q2. However, active users showed a slight decline, starting at 6.8K and ending at around 6.9K.

inDrive. Save on city rides had a modest increase in weekly downloads, with numbers rising from 233 in early April to 599 by the end of June. Active users saw a small but steady increase, growing from 2.6K to 2.8K.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at 136 and reaching 573 by the end of the quarter. Active users also grew from around 2.1K to 2.4K during this time.
